A live virtual tarot reading works best when you can settle in, hear clearly and give your questions some room. Choose a quiet, private spot, check your camera and microphone, keep your appointment email handy and confirm the time zone. You do not need your own tarot deck or any experience reading cards.
At Dallas Psychic & Crystals, a live virtual tarot reading is a private, one-to-one conversation with Sabrina on Zoom. She lays out and interprets the cards on camera, and you can ask questions as the session unfolds.
A little preparation lets you spend more of that time on what brought you to the reading.
Choose a place where you can speak freely
Think about comfort and privacy before choosing a room. A quiet corner at home can work well if you will not be interrupted. A busy café, a shared waiting area or a television playing nearby can make a personal conversation harder to follow.
Before your appointment:
- Let anyone nearby know you need some uninterrupted time.
- Place your phone, tablet or computer on a stable surface.
- Sit somewhere comfortable, with light in front of you rather than a bright window behind you.
- Keep your device charged or connected to power.
Headphones are an option if you prefer them. They can keep the reader’s voice from playing aloud into your room, but they cannot stop people nearby from hearing your side of the conversation. Choose the space accordingly.
You do not need candles, crystals, incense or an elaborate setup. Make yourself comfortable in a way that suits you.
Check your sound and camera before the session
Use the device and internet connection you plan to use for the reading. Check that your camera shows you clearly and that the correct microphone and speaker or headphones are selected.
A short test call beforehand can reveal a muted microphone, sound going to an old pair of Bluetooth headphones or a camera permission that needs attention. Speak at your normal volume and make sure you can hear the audio test. If you use headphones, test them connected rather than assuming they will work when the appointment begins.
Close distracting apps and silence unnecessary notifications while keeping your appointment information accessible. The aim is simple: less adjusting during the reading, more attention on the conversation.
Keep the correct appointment link within reach
Your confirmed live virtual appointment includes a Zoom link sent by email. Find that message before the appointment rather than searching for it at the last minute. Check the date and time as well as the meeting link, especially if you have booked more than one session.
Our published virtual service hours are noon to midnight, Wednesday through Monday, in Central Time. We are closed Tuesdays. Available appointments are shown when you book; service hours do not mean every time is open.
If you are joining from another time zone, compare the time and zone in your appointment details with your local time. Give yourself a few minutes to get settled and have the link ready. This is preparation time, not a promise that the reading will begin early.
Cannot find your confirmation? Check your spam or junk folder, then use our contact page for help. Include the appointment date or order reference so we can identify the booking. There is no need to put private reading questions in that message.
Bring a starting point, not a perfect script
Your question does not need special wording. Start with the situation you want to explore and what feels unclear about it.
You might begin with:
- “What should I consider as I move into this new chapter?”
- “What pattern am I bringing into this situation?”
- “Where could I give more attention to my own choices?”
These are invitations to a conversation. You can ask a follow-up when a card or interpretation interests you, or ask Sabrina to explain something you do not understand.
You can also request a general reading. If you are new to tarot, our guide to your first tarot reading explains what happens during the session.
Tarot belongs to a spiritual and interpretive tradition. The cards provide symbols to explore during the reading; decisions about your life remain yours. You can approach the conversation with curiosity without feeling you must already know what every card means.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need my own tarot cards?
No. Sabrina lays out and interprets the cards on camera. You only need a device that lets you join the live video conversation.
Is a virtual tarot reading live or prerecorded?
It is live. You speak directly with Sabrina and can ask questions during your private, one-to-one session.
Can I use my phone?
You can join Zoom on a compatible phone. Check the app, camera, microphone and connection beforehand, and place the phone on a stable surface so you do not have to hold it throughout the reading.
What if I do not have a specific question?
A general reading is an option. You can begin with what made you curious about booking and let the conversation develop from there.
What time zone should I check?
Our published service hours are Central Time. Check the time zone in your appointment confirmation and compare it with your local time before the day of your session.
